finally.. warm enough for a quick run through the sprinkler. The sun is warm.. The air is warm but THE WATER IS FREEZING! The water is ALWAYS freezing here though to be truthful. Mountain water from a spring...icy cold even in the summer!
A little more about this photo-- This image was shot in RAW and edited in "Adobe Camera Raw" using amazing presets created by Marina Miller of Red Heart Photography. Her work is brilliant! You can find more info about them here:
Sometimes the light just calls. I run with camera in hand and chase the kids. They have fun and I somehow feel a little more fullfilled. This may only take 10 minutes of my day, but in those 10 minutes I connect with my kids, I feel the sunshine- I find myself.
The May theme?Street photography. From the self portrait challenge site-
"What is that you ask - well Amy Stein says that good street photography should be voyeuristic, immediate, and uncomfortably intimate. It is also often thought to need to be ironic and distanced from its subject matter, concentrating on a single human moment, caught at a decisive or poignant moment."
